Opportunity: Managing Consultant

We’re looking for a number of managing consultants to join our team. Having grown our client base, strengthened our sector offerings and rebranded, we’re now expanding our team.

Our team of consultants work collaboratively with clients to solve complex business problems and deliver tangible improvements. Our specialisms include strategic growth, data-driven decision making, digital transformation, performance improvement and operational effectiveness, organisation design and sales optimisation.

Collaboration is at the heart of Curzon Consulting and is evident from our approach to client engagements to our internal culture. We get together regularly to share experiences and learn from each other. Recent team socials include mini-golf, digital darts and away-days.

About the role

    Successful candidates in Managing Consultant role:

  • Develop and agree engagement plans with clients
  • Act as subject matter expert lead on client interactions
  • Successfully deliver multiple project workstreams aligned with clients’ objectives
  • Manage of activities and outputs of the consulting team and the client team at a whole project or major workstream level, from set-up to completion
  • Manage change implementation on the ground and make it the new operating reality
  • Effectively facilitate and quality of all working and reporting sessions with client, with responsibility for the content and presentation of findings, conclusions and recommendations
  • Effectively manage client relationship week-to-week and ensure buy-in to and co-ownership of methodology, findings, change design, business case and implementation plans and execution
  • Transfer ‘how-to’ skills and nurture change agents within the client business so they are capable of embedding and sustaining change by the time the consulting team has departed
  • Work in close collaboration at all times with Curzon Engagement Leads, Account VPs and Partners
  • Coach and mentor more junior members of the team

What we’re looking for

    You will have:

  • Significant management consultancy experience gained in a number of different sectors
  • Senior management experience
  • Experience of implementing projects from end-to-end
  • Clear understanding of consultancy toolkit
  • A demonstrable track record in managing strategy, change design and implementation assignments for demanding clients with £100M+ turnover businesses
  • Proven skills in shaping client-consultant joint team engagements, in analysing complex business issues, designing workable solutions, winning hearts and minds for the change, and ensuring successful and sustained implementation
  • A passion for making strategy happen: achieving results that make a measurable impact on the bottom line and ensuring that new ways of working are embedded
  • Proven project leadership and the ability to build strong relationships with blue chip clients
  • Experience managing executive and senior management relationships effectively, on the basis of earned trust and confidence
  • The capabilities to make a full contribution to the intellectual and commercial development of our consulting practice, including thought leadership, mentoring, marketing and bid work
